Many time we face this type of problem, Usb drive is write protected.Today we solve this problem in very simple way.When your device is write protected then you can not make cut,copy operation on the drive.Even you when you tried it to format then also it is not formatted.Some SD cards and USB sticks have write protection switches. When enabled they prevent files from being deleted, or any new files being written to the device. It also stops you from accidentally formatting the card or stick.In that case you can only read the files but you can not cut,copy,paste.
We have two way to solve this type of problem that are given below:-

First Method:- (How to remove write protection)

By Using Registry Editor:

1. Goto Start Menu and find run option.

2. In the Run Box, type regedit and press Enter, this will open a new window, the registry editor.

3. Navigate to this path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
goto--------- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
goto---------SYSTEM
goto--------CurrentControlSet
got----------Control
find here "StorageDevicePolicies" and if you there is no such option then folllow this process

3. Right click on Control goto new and name it StorageDevicePolicies then click on new DWORD and name it WriteProtect.

4. Double click the key Write Protect in the right pane and set the value to 0 In the Value Data Box and press OK button.
5. Double click on it and set its value to 0.

10. Restart your system and check it.

Second Method:- (How to remove write protection)

By Using Diskpart (command prompt)

1. Start > search bar -> CMD and press enter
